My name is Tanya! I am a lover of many things including my two dogs, Brutus (15 year old Mutt) and Moshi (8 year old Chihuahua), art & photography, traveling, nail art, crafts, and of course food! I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel to various places, have new experiences, and interact with different types of people—and I have opinions on ALL of it. That’s basically all this blog is! A place where I can share the stories and pictures of my experiences and my personal feelings on such things. Hence the name “nothing about something” because let's be honest, I know very little about a lot and a lot about very little. I’m not an expert in anything (especially grammar, so put down your red pens!) but I always try to live life to the fullest.
I am originally from a small town in central Indiana. After high school I moved to Savannah, Georgia where I attended the Savannah College of Art & Design. While there I received a BFA in Graphic Design and Photography (“film” not digital, I’m so old that digital photography didn’t really exist yet!) and I fell in love. Shortly after, I got hitched to a man that forever changed my life, in a good way, and we have been living an ever-evolving life since. I’ve lived all across the US and in Italy. I’ve had almost every kind of job and have developed a lot of not so useful skills! Most recently however, I became a licensed nail technician while living in Washington state (see, always evolving). I recently packed up my pooches and flew across the Pacific Ocean to Tokyo, Japan where I currently reside. Thus, bringing us back to this blog….where I can hopefully share some of the adventures from this new chapter in my life with you. So ‘konichiwa’ friends and let's see what happens!
