War Memorial of Korea

You know that I love to experience fun, weird, and exciting new things when I travel, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t also have a deep appreciation for more serious things. Take the War Memorial of Korea located in Seoul for instance. Visiting this museum is a must. It is completely free and could take the whole day to go through. The place is huge, and has six different exhibition spaces that display over 13,000 artifacts. The museum covers all aspects of war as it relates to Korea’s history but obviously includes a lot about the Korean War. There are several large statues and sculptures outside as well as a large area filled with all different types of aircrafts—so make sure you save time to walk around the grounds as well.
