Las Vegas-Neon Museum

Sometimes when you’re in Las Vegas you just gotta get out of the casino for a bit….

When that time comes, I recommend checking out the Neon Museum. But then comes the question….to go during the day or at night? Obviously I chose to go during the daytime since I figured there were plenty of other places to see neon signs at night, I mean, HELLO—it’s Vegas! But I do think it would be super cool to see the museum at night too. The ticket was $18 and is a timed, guided tour. I wish that the group had been a bit smaller, but the tour guide does give a lot of interesting background information about many of the pieces on display as well as quite a bit of Las Vegas history. Warning: if you go during the daytime, don’t forget your sunscreen! You’re standing outside on a dirt lot for over an hour in the burning Vegas sun, otherwise…maybe opt for that nighttime visit after all.
